These stocks are bullish on Sensex
Shares of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) were the top gainers on the BSE Sensex, gaining 1.89 percent. Similarly, Sun Pharma, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, SBI, Tata Motors, HCL Tech, Mahindra Bank’s Kotak Mahindra Bank shares), Bharti Airtel and Nestlé India closed with a bounce of more than one percent.
Which stocks fell?
Shares of Ultratech Cement closed the highest on the Sensex by 4.62 percent. Apart from this, shares of NTPC, Tata Steel, Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Industries, Titan and Maruti closed lower.

Upper Circuit in 163 shares
A total of 2,741 shares were traded in BSE. Out of them stocks rose and 899 stocks fell. At the same time, the share prices of 163 companies remained stable. 100 shares closed at a 52-week high while 37 shares closed at a 52-week low. In the morning, 163 shares had upper circuit and 77 shares had lower circuit.

Rupee fell by 27 paise
The rupee fell by 27 paise to close at 81.39 against the US dollar. It had closed at Rs 81.12 in the previous session.
