This time, the students reached the exam center to take the exam, but the exam center was not given any kind of advance idea on behalf of the university. Therefore, seeing the students who reached the examination center, the college where the examination center is located and the principal and professors there went into a frenzy.
The MCom Sem II and Sem IV examinations of the University’s Institute of Distance and Open Studies have started from July 11. On 11th MCom IV paper on Supply Chain Management and Logistics (Supply Chain Management and Logistics) was going to be held from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. Bhavans Hazarimal Somani College of Arts and Science (Bhavans College, Girgaon Chowpatty) was the examination center for the said examination. So the students reached the exam center as per the schedule and the details on the hall ticket they got. However, if the students were confused after hearing the situation at the examination center, the Bhavans College administration started running as soon as they knew that the examination would be held in their college.

The college administration is complaining that the confusion has arisen because the university did not give any preconceptions to the college that Bhavans College will be the center of idol exams. So, the university administration is giving the information that the preview of the exam has been given to the college through email.
The principal and professors of Bhavans College tried to contact the Vidyapith administration immediately considering the situation, but the phone was not picked up by the university and no one had an answer as to what to do at the examination center at that time. Finally, Bhavans College professors completed the online process and started the paper of the students by taking copies of the question papers.
This behavior of the university is not new…
Earlier on March 30, when there was a holiday everywhere on Ramnavami day, many students reached Bhavans College, which is the examination center, for the examination. But even then, the college did not get any information about the exam, so there was confusion regarding the exam even then. At that time too, it was said that the university informed the college through email. However, it is being speculated on behalf of the college administration that this email must have been sent to the former principal of the college. Therefore, this time too, the university has once again given evidence of mismanagement by making a similar mess.

University says…
‘Maharashtra Times.com’ contacted the Institute of Distance & Open Learning of Mumbai University about the incident on July 11.
- The varsity said that Bhavans College was given a preview about the exam 2 to 3 days before the exam.
- Moreover, care was taken not to cause any harm to the students in the event that took place on the day of the examination.
- The university said that the papers of the students at the said examination center (Examination Centre: Bhavans College, Girgaon Chowpatty) started late and they were given that much more time to write the papers.
- However, the university avoided giving a satisfactory answer regarding this confusion, taking responsibility for this confusion which happened to others in a row.
Where exactly is the email going to…?
The university has also emailed Bhavans College and said that it has given a preliminary idea. Moreover,
According to the information received from the Bhavans College administration, it is possible that the email was sent to the former principal of the college. But, is the currently working Bhawans College Principal not getting the email…? And if he does not come, then the university administration along with Bhavans College also needs to pay attention to what is the reason behind this.
