The admission process for 2023-24 for the nursery class of CBSE schools of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has been started, informed Yogesh Kaduskar, Deputy Commissioner of Education Department. A total of 240 students will be admitted in two schools namely Seawood and Bonkode on behalf of the Municipal Corporation. The deadline for filling the application form has been given till March 25.
Parents are excited as the admission process begins. CBSE board affiliated schools have been opened by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation at Koparkhairane, Sector-11 and Nerul, Sector-50. While the admission process of private school nurseries has been completed till now, the admission process of these municipal schools has not yet been started.
Parents were demanding early admission process. In these schools, the admission process for nursery classes has now started. Since this admission is completely free, parents have been appealed to take advantage of this facility. Child must be three years old by 31st December 2023 for admission.
The documents required for admission are child’s birth certificate, caste certificate, passport size photograph, Aadhaar card, father’s residence proof. .. while the lottery admission application form can be filled in the respective school with all the documents till March 25. For admission, priority will be given to students living within a distance of one km from the school. It has been clarified on behalf of the Municipal Corporation that if there are more applications than the capacity for admission, the lottery system will be adopted.
