Mumbai : To prevent malpractices at 10th and 12th examination centers in the state, a ‘copy-free campaign’ will be implemented in the entire state. In this regard, it was decided to implement the copy-free campaign today. Deputy Chief Minister’s Secretary Shrikar Pardeshi made a presentation in this regard.
In this campaign, the Commissioner of Education and each District Collector have been appointed as ‘Nodal Officers’ of the state and Secondary Education Officers as ‘Coordinating Officers’. Also, the District Collector, District Superintendent of Police, Chief Executive Officer and all district administration should work together to implement the ‘copy-free campaign’. In this regard, Collector, Superintendent of Police, Chief Executive Officer should hold a joint press conference to create public awareness. Students appearing for the examination should be instructed to appear half an hour before the actual start time of the examination. In the friendship board meeting, it was decided that filming should be done at examination centers which are considered sensitive as far as possible.
Awareness campaign – Conducting workshops for teachers, principals, heads of educational institutions. Appointing District Vigilance Committee of Collector, Superintendent of Police, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad. Public awareness will be created through communicating with schools and parents through media.

Police arrangement- Apart from this, emphasis will also be given on police arrangement. No access to unauthorized persons within 50 meters. Examination centers should be classified as highly sensitive, sensitive, general. Prohibitory orders under Section 144 should be passed. All Xerox shops within 50 meters should be closed.
