The results of 8 courses in the second semester examinations of the academic year 2021-22 conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University are yet to be declared. Due to the delay in declaring the results of these examinations which have been going on since the month of June, many students are losing their education.
While all the universities across the state have adopted the route of online exams, Savitribai Phule Pune University, however, has decided to conduct offline exams this year. As the month of June dawned till this decision was taken, the examinations of the second session of the academic year 2021-22 were conducted from June 20. Although these examinations, which started in phases, ended in the middle of October, the results of 8 courses are yet to be declared by the university.
Even though the month of November dawns, these students are facing many difficulties in further admission as these results have not been announced. These are the results of various old pattern exams of BEd, MD and MBA courses, and the students are demanding to announce them at the earliest.
Fear of students falling behind
Almost 10 to 12 years old patterns of many courses are still being continued by the university. The examination department of the university informed that the results have not been declared yet as the examination of this pattern was conducted late. Also, the exam controller Dr. informed that the results will be announced within the next week. Mahesh Kakade spoke about this. Although these results will be announced within a week, the education sector is expressing the fear that the students of Pune University will lag behind in the next admission competition due to the announcement of the results of other universities.
The results of all the examinations conducted by the university are declared within 30 days. As the exams will be conducted, the results will be declared. So it is our responsibility to declare the results of the exams which ended in mid-October within 30 days. We will do it accordingly.
