Nashik : An agreement has been signed between Central Sainik Board and Andhra University, through which provision is made for awarding BA(HRM) degree in Arts to ex-servicemen to qualify for various job opportunities. District Soldier Welfare Officer Lt. Commander Omkar Kaple has appealed to interested soldiers to take advantage of this opportunity.
This agreement was signed between the Central Sainik Board and Andhra University with the aim of making the soldiers who have dedicated their lives for the defense of the country employable. This degree certificate will be recognized for employment in Central and State Governments and other Public Enterprises. But, to be eligible for it, the ex-serviceman should have completed 12th standard or equivalent education.

Must have special certificate of education obtained by Indian Army, Navy, Air Force. Ex-servicemen should not have less than 15 years of service. He should have retired after 1st January 2010.
If the ex-serviceman concerned has passed 10th standard then the five year course will be applicable. The fee for this course is Rs 12,500 and applicants should submit their applications to the District Soldier Welfare Office by the end of April or in the month of October itself, Kaple has appealed.
