Boycott of 12th answer sheet examination called off by junior college teachers. This decision has been taken after discussions with the Education Minister. Representatives from various departments of the federation participated in the meeting. Thirteen questions were discussed in the meeting.
Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education 12th examination started from 21st February. This year, the junior college teachers boycotted the examination of answer sheets. There have been no meetings of the regulators since the first day. Therefore, piles of question papers, sample answer sheets, bundles of answer sheets ended up in the Education Board, custody center (custody). The question was discussed in the Legislature after examination of the answer sheet.
Then on Thursday, the Education Minister held a discussion with the office bearers of the federation. Various issues were discussed. The federation is said to have taken the decision to call off the strike after the government expressed its positive attitude towards resolving the pending issues. Earlier two meetings were held at the primary level. But the question was not resolved.
The strike was called off after lengthy discussions with the Education Minister back on Thursday. Therefore, it is said that the meeting of the regulators will start from Thursday and the process of examination of answer sheets will start from Friday.
The government gave assurance on these demands
Junior college teachers have different demands. In this, a decision will be taken in accordance with the policy decided by the government regarding the old pension scheme, a revised proposal regarding the guaranteed scheme will be submitted to the finance department for approval.
It is said that the government has given an assurance regarding thirteen different questions that the appointment process will be implemented regarding the issue of teacher recruitment process, the criteria for junior college student numbers should be as per the school code and a proper decision will be taken.
