“During the previous government, there were malpractices in the process of government recruitment. If there is such a thing as paper futi, the question arises as to what the intelligent and sincere students should do. Therefore, transparency is necessary in this recruitment process, and for this, companies like ‘TCS’ and ‘IBPS’ have been appointed.
There is not a single complaint against these companies across the country. Recruitment process in Pune is a sensitive subject and the number of coaching classes is huge. It also has some class agendas. However, the recruitment process will be completed on time,’ explained Fadnavis.
New Vice-Chancellor, Professor soon
‘The vacant posts of 211 professors of Savitribai Phule Pune University were approved in 2019 only. However, not much action has been taken in two and a half years. Now all these posts will be filled immediately. The provisions of the Public Universities Act have been amended to make the Vice-Chancellor selection process as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) recommendations. Accordingly, the Vice Chancellor selection process will start early in the coming period and the University will get a new Vice Chancellor. Until then, competent administration will be run through the in-charge vice-chancellor,’ Fadnavis also explained.
