The application process for the National Eligibility Test (NET) of December 2022 has been started through the National Testing Agency (NTA), and applications can be submitted till January 17. It has been clarified through ‘NTA’ that this exam will be conducted across the country between February 21 and March 10.
Passing ‘NET’ is mandatory to qualify for joining as Associate Lecturer in colleges across the country. This exam is conducted twice in a year. The exam for December 2022 has been recently announced by ‘NTA’ and this exam will be held across the country from February 12 to March 10. For this, the online application process was started from 29th December.
Students will be able to submit applications till 5 pm on January 17. Also, fee payment facility has been made available till January 18. If there are any changes in the application form, students can make corrections between 19th and 20th January.
Information about exam centers next month
It will be announced in the first week of February in which cities across the country the ‘NET’ exam will be held. The hall tickets will be made available in the second week. Students can know the exam center, date and shift only after the hall tickets are available. Detailed information about ‘NET’ has been made available on the official website of ‘NTA’. This exam will be conducted in computer based mode for 83 subjects.
Instructions for completion of 10th-12th related process in current month
On behalf of the Central Board of Secondary Education, the practical examinations of class 10th and 12th will be conducted in the current month of January. CBSE has given instructions that schools should complete these exams according to their own schedule.

As schools have to decide the dates of practical exams, students have to contact the schools regarding the same. JEE Mains exams will also be conducted during this period. Schools should take care that the dates of this examination and practical examination do not come simultaneously. Accordingly, the schedule of practical examinations should be fixed. CBSE has also informed the schools that they should follow all the rules and instructions prescribed by CBSE while conducting this examination.
