Republic Day: India’s 74th Republic Day is being celebrated on 26 January 2023. On this day in 1950, the Constitution came into force in the country and India became a democratic nation. Many great men, freedom fighters, soldiers and martyrs have played an important role in the independence of India, in making the country a constitutional nation and in its development. Bhagat Singh and Chandrasekhar Azad, who fought for the country’s independence, Rajiv Gandhi, Atal Bihari and APJ Abdul Kalam, who took the country to the global stage after independence, all contributed greatly to nation building.
For this contribution we salute the spirit of patriotism on the occasion of the national festival. Republic day program is celebrated in schools and colleges. If your child is also participating in Republic Day events, remind him of the strong declarations of independence that instill a sense of patriotism.
