In the academic year 2019-20, the RTE fee reimbursement amount was fixed at Rs 17,670 per student. As the school was closed in 2020-21 due to the outbreak of Corona, the fee reimbursement rate was reduced to Rs 8,000 per student. Mata also shed light on this through news.
After that, in the academic year 2021-22, the amount of reimbursement of educational fees was not revised due to the continued spread of Corona virus. However, as the school started regularly in the academic year 2022-23, it was decided to reverse the fee reimbursement amount. Therefore, it has been mentioned that the schools which are in the RTE admission process will be reimbursed Rs 17 thousand 670 per student fee.
While reimbursing the education fee, certain aspects have to be verified. Accordingly, the schools which have given admissions under 25 percent reserved seats under ‘RTE’ are required to publish the fee details of class 1st to 8th on the website of Saral or ‘RTE’. Aadhaar card of all students should be registered on Saral website. Only the number of Aadhaar enrolled students should be considered.
The decision of the school education department has clarified that only 25 percent of the actual number of students will be considered for fee reimbursement.
