Bhavya Dharmesh Paleja, who is handicapped in both legs, has cleared the Chartered Accountant (CA) examination in the first phase. In front of his ‘magnificent’ divinity, his disability is also set in stone. Therefore, he has become a ‘role model’ for the new generation who get tired of little troubles.
Bhavya is crippled in both legs due to ‘spinal muscular atrophy’. So he can’t even sit properly on a chair. Being disabled in both legs, he cannot go anywhere without a wheelchair. He has often traveled to school and college sitting on his father’s shoulder.
Bhavya’s father Dharmendra owns a printing press business, so his financial situation is barely there. Dharmendra and his wife Dipti Paleja had a ‘big dream’ for their son. Bhavya did his education from class I to XII at Manibai Gujarati High School. His parents were carrying him on their shoulders.
Even in such circumstances, Bhavya scored 90% marks in 10th and 12th and got into merit. After this, he did B. from Vidyabharati college in the city. com. And M. com completed. Completing education was a big challenge for Bhavya as well as his parents.
Bhavya often faced contempt from some teachers. He also recalls that the teachers refused to admit him to the tutoring class saying that he would disturb the class because of him. But he did not let these bitter memories affect his studies. He continued to exert himself immensely. As a result he has been able to pass the CA exam. This story is becoming an inspiration for millions of youths who are facing various exams due to physical ailments or financial conditions.
