Dahiwadi’s son Omkar Gundge was working hard for the Central Public Service Commission examination. But he was not getting success. Despite clearing the preliminary exam, he had to face failure in the main exam. But he did not give up. He qualified for the interview in his fifth attempt this time and came 380th in the country.
Omkar is the former education chairman of Satara Zilla Parishad Adv. He is the nephew of Bhaskarrao Gundge and the son of Rajendra Gundge, a prominent cloth shopkeeper here. Omkar did his secondary education at Merimata English School Medium Mhaswad. Higher secondary education was done from Ruia College. He obtained BSLLLB degree from ILS Law College, Pune in the year 2017. He first entered the university in the third year of this degree.
He then went to Delhi to study for the Central Public Service Commission examination. Despite clearing the preliminary exam in four attempts, he faced failure in the main exam. However, qualified for the interview in the fifth attempt and came 380th in the country. After this success Omkar is showered with congratulations and many dignitaries met him and wished him well.
This was my favorite dream. I wanted to be a collector myself. Omkar’s mother Suvarna Gundge says that I am very happy that my son fulfilled my dream today.
Even if you study for 8 to 10 hours disciplinedly without believing the things on social media, you can achieve success. Exercise is very important, it gives us energy to study, said Omkar.
