To appoint a committee to inquire into the examination department of the University; Decision of the University Administration in the Assembly

Pune : In the wake of continuous complaints regarding the examination department of Savitribai Phule Pune University, the department will be investigated. This will solve the problems of exams. The decision to appoint a committee by the university administration for the inquiry was taken in the AGM held on Wednesday.

After the elections held in the university, the first assembly was organized. All members are yet to be appointed. Still, the discussion of holding this meeting to approve the annual accounts, balance sheets, chartered auditors’ report was rife in the university circles. While the original purpose of the Adhisabha was different, the issue of examination and exam department grievances was prominent. Some members raised the issue in the Adhi Sabha that there are continuous complaints about the examination department. After discussing it for a long time, the university finally decided to appoint a committee and conduct a detailed investigation. Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr. Karbhari Kale, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Sonawane and Registrar Dr. Prafulla Pawar along with newly elected Adhi Sabha members were present.

Some measures are going to be suggested for proper and hassle free organization of examinations. It was also clarified in the Adhi Sabha that the report for immediate measures will be submitted within ten days and for long-term measures with the help of technology within a month.

Two reports will be given regarding the examination section. The first report will contain immediate measures to be taken by the department. Another report will be given after one month for long term measures. The main objective of the committee will be to take measures to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.

‘G-20’ Program in University

Savitribai Phule Pune University has got the privilege of organizing an event of the much-loved ‘G-20’ conference held in the country. Vice-Chancellor Dr. informed that the university has been selected for the ‘Youth-20’ program and the inspection has been completed by the central committees. Karbhari Kale gave. Along with this, the meetings organized on financial issues in the council will also be held in the university. The responsibility of its coordination and control has been entrusted to the university. The Vice-Chancellor also said that a special lecture will be organized for all the students to understand ‘G-20’.
