Along with this, after verifying the documents of the concerned schools, if they are unauthorized, they will also have to give an immediate notice for appropriate action.
Unauthorized schools have sprung up across the state in the past few years. Parents are often cheated by the schools as they do not know much about this. Two years ago, during the National Education Survey, it was pointed out that the school in Wadala area of Nashik had only a paper record and was not actually a school. After that, the inspection conducted across the state revealed that nearly six and a half hundred schools are unauthorized. Although many unofficial schools have been closed since then, some schools are still open.
