As much for ‘Wade’… Esha Keskar spoke clearly on the controversy of screen and prime time

Mumbai: Many Bollywood and Marathi films are currently in the queue for screening. Although quality Marathi films are being produced, we have to accept the fact that these films do not have space in cinemas-multiplexes. It has been seen that Marathi films have always got a secondary position compared to Hindi films in the prime time debate in cinemas-multiplexes. Today, Marathi films are seen to be competing well with Bollywood. But now it seems that the shows of other Marathi films are being reduced for King Khan’s film Pathan of Bollywood. Many places have even been cancelled. Due to this, Marathi artists have expressed their displeasure.

‘Wade’, ‘Walvi’, ‘Sarla Ek Croti’, ‘Victoria’ did well at the box office. Since Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ is releasing, it has affected the shows of these films. Speaking on this, actress Esha Keskar has given her reaction.

Finally, one hand does not clap. It was also a bit late for us to reach the audience. Jo Wade movie released now. We could not do the level of promotion for that film. So we fell behind. So we were not given screens. But if you give a good response to the film, we will definitely try to get maximum number of screens for the film. We have many films with us. There is also a lot of competition. Still, our producers and directors are trying’, said Isha.

Meanwhile, Omkar Bhojane of Maharashtra’s Comedy Jatra fame also stars alongside Esha in the lead role. The film is becoming a hit with the audience and Omkar and Esha’s roles in sarla ek koti are being appreciated.
