NCP leader Jitendra Awad has objected to some scenes in the movie Har Har Mahadev. Not only this, Awad and his workers stopped the movie show at Viviana Mall in Thane. Director Abhijit Deshpande has strongly condemned this matter. He said, ‘Actually there is nothing to object in this movie. The Censor Board gave us a certificate. So I will not say much about those objections. But what happened yesterday was very shameful.
The so-called Shivaraya devotees entered the theater and beat up their own Marathi people who had come to watch the movie. They abused them and tore their clothes. Due to his actions, he has insulted Shiva Raya. I condemn this matter in the strongest possible terms.’ Deshpande further said that, ‘Actually, we have evidence of what we have shown in the movie. We have submitted that evidence to the Censor Board. Only after that he has given the certificate to the movie. Therefore, the allegation of destroying history in the cinema is completely wrong,” said Deshpande.
An official statement will be issued
Deshpande further said, ‘A detailed statement about what has been shown in the movie Har Har Mahadev and the references used will be released by this evening. It will give a detailed answer to the things that have been objected to in this movie.’ Deshpande further said that, ‘When we sent this film to the censors. Then he also asked some questions about this movie. While answering it, we presented all the books, goats that we referred to. In this, the books of Krishnarao Keluskar, Gajanan Mehendale published in 1905 and many goats were used for reference. All of them were submitted to the censors. Only after that he has given the certificate to our film.
