Aslam Kazi, who is now known as the wrestling emperor of the state and lives in Kurdwadi of Solapur district, has made a big claim about this tournament. This claim made by Kazi has created a stir.

According to Kazi’s claim, the Maharashtra Kesari competitions held in Pune are unauthorized. Because the case regarding the trustees of Maharashtra Kustigir Parishad is going on in the court. It is still headed by Sharad Pawar and Balasaheb Landge, the leaders of NCP. The court also ruled in his favour, but Ramdas Tadas organized the Maharashtra Kesari contest without taking Sharad Pawar or Balasaheb Landge into confidence.

While organizing the Maharashtra Kesari Tournament, the full concurrence of the Maharashtra Kustigir Parishad is required. But nothing seems to have happened, on the contrary, information is coming out that in the month of March 2023, the Maharashtra Kesari Competition is going to be organized by the Maharashtra Kustigir Parishad in Ahmednagar district. Many training wrestlers in the state have also started preparing for it.

There is no signature-stamp of Kustigir Parishad on the certificates

There is a special quota for athletes while getting government jobs. For that, a certificate has to be given. A certificate is also awarded to the wrestlers who participated in the Maharashtra Kesari Tournament. But the certificates given to wrestlers in this year’s Maharashtra Kesari wrestling tournament held in Pune, neither Balasaheb Landge, nor Sharad Pawar nor the Maharashtra Kustigir Parishad have their signatures. This certificate will not be considered for government jobs, said wrestling king Aslam Qazi.

One of the wrestlers under Kazi’s training has received a certificate in a competition held in Pune. But it does not have the signature stamp of Sharad Pawar, Balasaheb Landge or Maharashtra Kustigir Parishad and the signature stamp of Ramdas Tadas is not important. A lot of confusion has arisen in the state of Maharashtra regarding the Indian Wrestling Federation, Maharashtra Wrestling Federation, Maharashtra Kustigir Parishad. Kazi claimed that many expert wrestlers who worked in the Maharashtra Kustigir Parishad institute expressed doubts about the certificates.

It is impossible to organize Maharashtra Kesari competition by forming a new organization

It was said that the injustice that was done to the wrestler Sikander Sheikh from Mohol in Solapur district during the semi-final match during the Maharashtra Kesari tournament will not be allowed. Also, Ramesh Barskar, a wrestler from Mohol, announced that the Maharashtra Kesari wrestling tournament would be organized once again in Solapur by forming a new wrestling association.

Reacting to this, Qazi said, All this is easy to say. But in reality it is impossible to do so, because Maharashtra Kustigir Parishad is registered in Charity Commissioner’s office. His final award is also recorded as Maharashtra Kesari. Even the name of Maharashtra Kesari Tournament cannot be used by any other wrestling organization. It is illegal to do so without the permission of Maharashtra Kustigir Parishad. Kazi said that wrestling competitions can be held limited to Solapur district or with another name, but Maharashtra cannot use the name Kesari.
