Mumbai: The final match of the three-match ODI series between India and New Zealand was played today (January 24) at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. In this thrilling match, the Indian team won by a resounding score of 90 runs. Batting first after losing the toss, the Indian team set a target of 385 runs against New Zealand for the loss of nine wickets. However, New Zealand could not meet this target.

Chasing this target, the Kiwi team scored only 295 runs in 41.2 overs. During this match, the performance of some players of Team India was excellent. These players have become the heroes of this match.

Rohit Sharma:

Captain Rohit Sharma performed admirably in this match. He played an explosive century of 101 off 85 balls. In between, he hit 9 fours and 6 sixes. Apart from this, he played an important role in winning the team as an excellent captain in this match.

Shardul Thakur played an important role in the Indian team’s victory in Indore. He played a vital role in achieving the big target with a valuable knock of 25 runs off 17 balls. Also, he prevented the New Zealand batsmen from scoring runs. He took two wickets in two balls to help India win. Shardul Thakur was awarded ‘Player of the Match’.

Kuldeep Yadav:

In this match, Kuldeep Yadav managed to take three wickets by giving 62 runs with his brilliant bowling. He took these wickets on important occasions which made the opposition batsmen lose their rhythm and India won the match.
