Habhap Bandatatya Karadkar is a senior kirtan artist of Maharashtra. He is also a social educator. He had warned them to protest for Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj’s palanquin.
Earlier, he had blocked the Chief Minister for the cow slaughter ban law. He had warned to stop the official grand puja of the Chief Minister to implement the Cow Slaughter Prohibition Act in Maharashtra. At that time there was a Congress-Nationalist government in the state and Prithviraj Chavan was the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
In 1996, Habhap Bandattati established the Addiction Free Youth Sangh. This organization works to de-addiction youth. The rebels have been working for the past twenty years. Apart from that, they organize Pratapi Sanskar Sohla at the forts so that the youth can know about the history. This activity has been going on for almost 25 years.

In order to send a proposal to the central government for the ‘Padma Shri’ award in 2019, the state government sought their information from the rebel karadkars. He refused to give information about his work saying that he does not accept any award.
