In honor of village deity Siddheshwar Maharaj, flowers are showered on the Nandi flag by Muslim brothers

Maha Yatreya of village deity Shri Siddheshwar Maharaj of Solapur has started. The tradition of this Yatra has been in Solapur for the last 900 years. The Siddheshwar Mahayatra has been completed for nine hundred years. A vision of religious harmony was also seen in this Mahayatra. Muslim brothers showered flowers on Mankari and Nandi flag. During Maharaja’s yatra, seven Nandi flags pass through the procession route. As soon as all the seven Nandi flags, Mankari reach Bijapur Ves, flowers are showered by the Muslim brothers. It is said that for 25 years Bijapur Ves has been showering flowers like this.
