How to know if someone is abusing Wi-Fi?
Even if your Wi-Fi is working well, it is important to know if there is someone using the Internet secretly. First of all, make sure you always have a password protected Wi-Fi at home and also see that only your devices are connected to that network.
To see which devices are connected to your home Wi-Fi, you first need to load the router’s app. You may have used this app before when setting up your Wi-Fi.
Also at the bottom of your router you will find the address that will allow you to connect to the device. If your router doesn’t have a companion app, you can also load it into a browser. Log in to it and go to Connected Devices, Wireless Clients or any such option in the menu. This will let you know how many and which devices are connected to your Wi-Fi.
If you have many gadgets connected to your Wi-Fi, you may not be aware of some of them. Because, all connected gadgets are not named as simple as iphone, ipad. One way to find this out is to turn off the Wi-Fi of all devices in your home. Refresh the router tab or app. After this you will see your computer connected to Wi-Fi only. Besides, the device you see will belong to someone else using your internet.
