Ganesh Ranganath Bhujbal has a grocery shop next to his house at Kherda in Selu taluk of Parbhani. On January 12, Kiran opened the door of the shop when thieves knocked on the door at midnight. The thieves then entered the shops and took fifty thousand rupees in cash from the street. After that the thieves tied Ganesha’s mouth and took him to the field and poisoned Ganesha after which the thieves fled from the field.

Since Ganesha had a mobile phone nearby, he told his friend everything that had happened. After that, Ganesh was immediately admitted to Upazila Hospital in Selu for treatment. After first treatment at this place, he was admitted to District General Hospital at Parbhani for further treatment. After treatment at this place, Ganesh was admitted to a private hospital in Aurangabad for further treatment. Ganesh was discharged from the hospital as his condition improved after treatment. A case has been registered in this matter till now in Selu police station. It is reported that the Selu police have received preliminary information about the incident.
