Satan: Even though he was posted as a police inspector in Satana police station, he was not living in ‘Faujdar Bungalow’, so this bungalow was lying in dust. Now, within a few days after the police inspector resigned, the concerned officials of the Liquor Prohibition Department locked and sealed the bungalow. This sudden action has created excitement in the police circles here.
‘Yashwant’ is the residence of officers of Satana police station next to the Liquor Department office on Taharabad road which is the main place in Satana city. These Koularu bungalows, which have been in existence for many years, are referred to as ‘Faujdar bungalows’. Officials working on duty reside here. Adjacent to the sadar bungalow of the police officers, there is a place for the Prohibition Department, and recently the construction of an administrative building has been started at this place. Meanwhile, Subhash Anmulwar was appointed as Police Inspector of Satana Police Station for the last one and a half years. He refused the government bungalow and preferred to live in a private bungalow. This government bungalow was closed for the last one and a half years. After the transfer of Police Inspector Subhash Anmulwar, as soon as he left the post, the officers of the Prohibition Department were found in Aite Koli, before the new officers entered the bungalow, the officers of the Prohibition Department conducted a panchnama and locked the said bungalow and the entrance. Due to this action taken by the concerned department, there has been a stir in the police circle here.
What about the letter of the Prohibition Department?
Sources said that the site of the bungalow, which is the residence of the police officers, belongs to the Liquor Prohibition Department and it is recorded as Abkari Bungalow in the Satbara passage of 1930. It is understood that a written letter has been sent to the Police Department regarding the said action taken by the officials of the Prohibition Department. But this letter could not be received.
Greenery withered
The area of Faujdar’s bungalow on Taharabad Road was planted by the previous officers and the greenery flourished. The bungalow was given beauty due to the color. Therefore, the eyes of the passers-by were falling on the bungalow. But since the bungalow has been closed for the past one and a half years, the trees here have deteriorated. Due to the sudden action, everyone’s eyebrows have been raised.
