Karmaveer Dadasaheb Idate did great work for the deprived, the afflicted, the Dalits, the homeless. Karmaveer Dada made the underprivileged people of India stand on their feet. The lamp of knowledge was lit in his life. Educational institutions were established only in very remote places where there are no facilities. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s native village Ambedwe had no facilities of education after primary education, Dadasaheb started a secondary school there. Also started secondary and college education at Kumble.

During the emergency of 1975, Dadasaheb was stationed under “Misa” in Yerwada Jail for one and a half years. His passion for the work of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and his work for the nomadic society is well known. He worked very hard to develop the awareness of Babasaheb Ambedkar’s thoughts among the followers of the Sangh and among the workers of the Sangh.
He did the challenging task of inculcating the theme of harmony in Maharashtra when the Sangh was in charge. At the same time, he took strong positions on socially sensitive issues such as Mandal Commission, Marathwada University name change, Riddles’ ban, reservation, presented them in the form of leaflets and also presented them in public speeches. In this way, he did the invaluable work of connecting the Bahujan Samaj Sangh thought in Maharashtra.

Honor to Ramesh Patange too
Ramesh Patange, associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, is known as a senior thinker and writer. He has served as the editor of the weekly Vivek for a long time. Along with this, he is also the chairman of Hindustan Publishing House. He is also the founder of social organizations such as Samarasata Manch, Bhatkevimukt Vikas Parishad, Samarasata Sahitya Parishad. He has been honored with many prestigious awards including the Panchjanya Nachiketa Award.
