According to The Mirror, a woman named Donna Denton went to Fremont Food Mart on Friday to buy biscuits. But, here she decided to buy not only biscuits but also a 777 lottery ticket. Donna bought a lottery ticket at a cost of $8 which is Rs.661 in Indian currency. However, she never imagined that she would actually win the lottery. However, when she checked the ticket, she was shocked. She had won a huge jackpot of 700,000 pounds i.e. 5 crore 78 lakh rupees.

The husband could not believe it
After winning the lottery, she rushed home and asked her husband to check the ticket again, as she could not believe that she had won the lottery. When the husband contacted the lottery office and rematched the numbers, he was also surprised. At first he didn’t believe it either. But Donna had actually won the lottery. She became a millionaire in no time.

After tax deduction, Donna will get around Rs 4 crore 11 lakh. After winning such a big lottery, Donna said, ‘Our Christmas joy has doubled. We are very happy. This is God’s blessing. Donna is thinking of donating some of the money from the lottery to her local church’.
