The five Indians include Abhishek Kushwaha (age 25), Bishal Sharma (22), Anil Kumar Rajbhar (27), Sonu Jaiswal (35) and Sanjay Jaiswal. Four of the five had arrived in Kathmandu from India on Friday.
The four had planned to enjoy paragliding in the lake city and tourist hub Pokhara, said Ajay Kumar Shah, a resident of Sarlahi district in southern Nepal. He also told PTI that we came together from India.
Before moving to Pokhara, he stayed in a cowshed near the Pashupatinath temple and later at Hotel Discovery Inn in Thamel. He had planned to return to India from Pokhara via Gorakhpur.
According to the spokesperson of Yeti Airlines Sudarshan Bertaula, no one has survived the accident. Gazipur District Magistrate Aryka Akhouri told PTI that four of the five Indian nationals who died are residents of Uttar Pradesh’s Gazipur district.

The families of the deceased have been contacted. Our Sub Divisional Magistrate and other officials are meeting them. We are in touch with the embassy. Rescue and search operations will resume on Monday to find the remaining bodies trapped in a deep river gorge surrounded by rocks.
