Milk is not a meal substitute
Especially among young children, food and beverage preferences increase, with children often rejecting healthy iron-rich foods and significantly preferring milk and fruit juice. Since the stomach is already full of milk, the milk does not contain the nutrients and vitamins that children need and it affects the overall growth of children. The child eventually becomes fat and irritable, lethargic and lacks energy to do any physical activity.
According to the experts, it is not right to give milk to children as a substitute for food. So if you are thinking about the growth of your children, avoid exclusive breastfeeding. After a certain age, include milk and other foods in their diet.
