The State Reserve Police Force Group (SRPF) training center sanctioned by the coalition government in Karjat-Jamkhed constituency was shifted to Jalgaon district at the same time. However, after the government of Mahavikas Aghadi, MLA Rohit Pawar brought this center back to Kusadgaon in Jamkhed taluka. His work also started in the middle period. However, now with the transfer of power, movements have started to shift this project back to Jalgaon district. The BJP MLAs of Bhusawal have requested Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to bring this center to Varangaon. Accordingly, Fadnavis has given instructions to the concerned agencies to take action by taking information about the current status of the work. MLA Rohit Pawar has expressed displeasure over this. Rohit Pawar has expressed his anger that the opposition MLA should not be credited for the work, so if such a decision is taken, it is anti-development politics of BJP.
The training center of SRPF sanctioned at Kusadgaon in Jamkhed taluka was shifted to Jalgaon district during the tenure of minister Ram Shinde during the then coalition government. At that time, Shinde was accused of not being able to stop this center. After that Shinde was defeated, Rohit Pawar became MLA and Mahavikas Aghadi government came. Pawar started the pursuit to bring back this center. Accordingly, on 26th June 2020, a government decision was issued to bring this center to Kusadgaon (Jamkhed). In June 2022, the work was started by issuing the commencement order. The tender process of Rs.34 Crore 37 Lakhs for the construction required for the work has been approved and now the approved work is in progress. The recruitment process of manpower required for this has been completed and their training is in progress.
While this work is in progress, now the BJP MLAs of Bhusawal have written a request to the Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to have this center at Varangaon. Fadnavis has taken note of this and given action instructions. Accordingly, from the correspondence of the Home Department, the status of the ongoing work in Kusadgaon, fund distribution and other information has been requested.
Raj Thackeray: Vikhe Patal’s reaction to Raj Thackeray’s statement, ‘In the state
After getting information about this, displeasure has started to be expressed from Jamkhed taluk. After the Shinde-Fadnavis government, many works in the state were put on hold. Jamkhedkars are feeling the brunt of it. It is being demanded that this project should remain here and a new project should be given in Jalgaon district. MLA Rohit Pawar has also given an angry reaction. Technically, this police training center cannot be moved elsewhere. However, if anyone tries to take it under pressure, we will not allow it to happen. MLA Rohit Pawar also said that if something comes to the constituency in such a manner and the BJP leaders cancel the work so as not to give credit to the opposition MLA, it is against development.
