Regarding the march in Shirdi, BJP taluka president Dyaneshwar Gondkar said that opposition leader Ajit Pawar made a derogatory statement saying that Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was not a religious hero. His speech has hurt the sentiments of Shiva lovers. There has been a demand from the social organizations that he should apologize for this speech. To protest against his speech, a protest march has been organized in Shirdi city on Monday 2nd January 2023 at 2.30 pm on behalf of Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of Revenue Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and in the presence of Uttar Ahmednagar district president Rajendra Gondkar.

In this march starting from Sai Ashram in the city, the chief office-bearers of various alliances of Bharatiya Janata Party along with taluka workers, office-bearers of all organizations, youth and women activists and Shiv-loving citizens will participate in large numbers and submit a statement to the administration.

The speech made about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is causing a strong reaction in various sections of the society. The real Pawar should have apologized for his speech. But, since nothing happened, now is the time for the activists to come down on the streets and protest. That is why Shirdi City President Sachin Shinde, Regional Representative Nitin Kapse, Nandkumar Jejurkar, OBC Morcha District President Balasaheb Gadekar, Kisan Morcha Babasaheb Dange, Bhajumo Taluka President Satish Bawke and other office bearers have appealed to all officials and activists to participate in this movement in large numbers.
