What does the letter say?
National Highway No. 3 from Vadpe to Gonde and Gonde to Dhule (Maharashtra State Border) is under the jurisdiction of the National Highways Authority. We had announced that this entire road will be made of six tiers and concrete. We made this announcement on 4th October 2021 at the function of National Highway Authority in Nashik. However, the approval of the DPR of the six-lane road and the start of the actual work will be delayed due to the red tape of the government. Due to the dilapidation of this road, the entire length of the road needs to be renewed till it is renewed.
The four-lane road work was completed in 2014. The work order stipulates that the toll collection contractor should complete the strengthening of the road every five years. However, these roads are in a very bad condition due to non-improvement by the concerned companies as per the specifications in the contract. Passengers are facing a lot of trouble due to the formation of high and deep areas on the road at many places. Therefore, Chhagan Bhujbal has requested that action should be taken to renovate the entire road until it becomes a six-lane road.
There is a four lane road from Nashik to Mumbai and the condition of this road is very poor. This road is very busy. Since there is no flyover in the high traffic area from Shahapur to Vadape, traffic is always obstructed here. Therefore, Chhagan Bhujbal has given a letter to the Union Minister Nitin Gadkari regarding the renewal of this road. Meanwhile, it will be important to take note of this letter and see if the work will be done this night.
