Parbhani: A 60-year-old man died on the spot when he was hit by a bus while crossing the road on a bicycle. The incident took place in front of a petrol pump near Dharmapuri in Parbhani taluka. A case was registered against the bus driver in the rural police station. The bus has also been placed in the police station. The person who died in the accident has been identified as Baban Ranba Betkar.
Baban Ranba Betkar of Dharmapuri in Parbhani taluka was riding a bicycle on Parbhani Jintur Road at night. This time, while they were crossing the road, they were hit by a bus. Baban Ranba Betkar died on the spot in this accident. As soon as the people of the village got the information about the incident, they rushed to the spot. The body was then sent to Parbhani District General Hospital for post-mortem.
