Akshay Zurunge is currently working as an Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector in the Transport Department. He is the deer of Daund taluka NCP OBC cell president Jyoti Zurunge. Akshay Zurunge, who started his studies at the age of forty, has served in the Indian Army for 17 years. During this period, he has served the country in the freezing cold regions like Leh, Siachen, Siliguri etc. surrounded by snow. He was holding the post of Subhedar when he retired from there.
After retirement, he started farming when he returned to the village; But the studious student in him did not allow him to rest. He finally started his studies at the age of forty. Apart from this, they also wanted to do agriculture. It was also to be done on the basis of advanced technology. That’s why they broke the traditional farming and cultivated the sevga. At the same time, while farming on one side, he studied hard and succeeded in the MPSC exam. Currently, he is an officer in the state transport department and is working as Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector.
When MP Supriya Sule, who was on a tour of Daund taluka, went to Patethan, he met Jurunge and felicitated him. MP Sule praised Zurunge’s inner enthusiasm for serving the public again after his military service, starting his studies at the age of forty and taking the exam, passing it with good marks and serving the public while serving the government.
