Konkan will not be allowed to become a chemical sewer; the role of anti-refinery organizations
Barsu-Solgaon Panchkro and anti-refinery organization meeting has taken a stand to continue this anti-refinery fight with proper coordination. A joint meeting of office bearers of Konkan Refinery Project Anti Sangharsh Association and Nate Panchkroshi Anti Refinery Association was held on Monday. Officials have informed that it has been unanimously decided that the agitation against the polluting refinery should be fought with proper coordination. It was decided to make this anti-refinery struggle Konkanwide by including the representatives of new individuals, organizations and villages participating in order to prevent Konkan from becoming a chemical sewer. In this meeting, everyone has agreed that there should be unanimity in political stance and reaction to it.
