The Karnataka government has claimed the Jat taluka in Sangli district of Maharashtra. Hence, the Maharashtra-Karnataka border dispute will once again flare up. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has proposed to include the Jat taluka of Sangli in Karnataka. The Karnataka government will provide subsidy to Kannada-medium schools in Maharashtra. Basavaraj Bommai also said that the Kannada freedom fighters living in the neighborhood will be provided with pension. Thackeray group’s district chief Sanjay Pawar has reacted to this. He said, even if someone’s father comes, we will not give even an inch of space to Karnataka. Sanjay Pawar has also said that we will fight even if our blood is spilled. He has also said that Karnataka is a state that will play drama, and it has the support of BJP.
