According to the police, an Ashok Leyland dumper (MS 46 BM 0151) was plying in front of Gradup Society on the service road leading from Bhumkar Bridge to the highway. Police have said that the accident happened due to the dumper driver who was going at a high speed and lost control.

In this horrific accident, the bike rider died on the spot.
