20 cars in a multi-storey parking lot in West Delhi’s Subhash Nagar were gutted simultaneously. The incident came to light on Monday morning. Due to this, there was a sensation in the area. The fire brigade personnel brought the fire under control.
The fire brigade received information about the fire in the parking lot of MCD around 4 am. After that, seven fire engines reached the spot. The fire was brought under control around 6:30 in the morning. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in the accident. But as 20 cars were burnt, there was a huge loss. This happened in an attempt to set fire to a car. Yash’s cousin had an affair with Ishaan. But Yash did not like this matter. So there was an argument between the two. To teach Ishaan a lesson, Yash goes to the parking lot and sets his car tire on fire with a lighter. After Yash left, the fire spread and 20 cars were burnt.
Police traced the accused with the help of CCTV footage. Yash had an argument with Ertiga’s owner Ishaan. To take revenge, Yash set fire to Ishaan’s car parked in the parking lot, police said. Further investigation into the incident is underway. In this case, the police have registered a case under sections 436 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code. Information regarding the registration of 14 out of 20 cars has been collected. However, other cars were completely burnt so information regarding their registration could not be obtained.
