An emotional story shared by doctors
Doctor Sudhir Kumar of Hyderabad has shared this entire incident on his social media account Twitter. He tweeted what the 6-year-old told him. He wrote, ‘I was shocked to hear the boy’s speech. Manu told me not to tell his parents that he had cancer. But, I could not keep his promise. I spoke to Manu’s parents’.
Don’t tell my parents
Dr. Sudhir Kumar wrote in his tweet, ‘A young couple came to the OPD and said that their son Manu has cancer. He is waiting outside. He said that we don’t want the child to know about it. The couple asked me to treat the child. When I met Manu, he was in a wheelchair. But still he had a smile on his face. Then I went through Manu’s medical history and spoke to his parents. Then the boy requested to speak to me alone’.

I know I will live only 6 months
‘As soon as the parents went out, the little boy said to me – Doctor, I have already read everything about my illness. I know I’m only going to live for 6 months. But I have not told this to my parents. If they find out, they will be sad. Don’t tell them I have cancer.’
The doctor became emotional after hearing the speech of the little one. They gathered courage and said yes to him. But, later they also spoke to the parents of the little one. The parents also got emotional after hearing what the doctor said. Currently, this story has gone viral on social media.
