The incident came to light when the aggrieved female passenger wrote a letter to Tata Group Chairman N Chandrasekaran, expressing her disappointment at the cabin crew’s insensitive behavior on this occasion. According to the woman’s complaint, the cabin crew gave her only a pajama and slippers to change into. But apparently no action was taken against the culprits.
The incident was reported to regulatory authorities and Air India said it was in regular contact with the female passenger throughout the investigation. The airline has formed an internal committee to put this passenger on the ‘no fly list’.
