Noida: The mystery of the murder case that happened 9 months ago in Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh has been solved. The police have arrested the entire family of the deceased youth including his girlfriend and sent them to jail. On June 13, 2022, the dead body of a youth named Ranjit was found. The police have succeeded in completing the investigation of this murder case.
Nine months ago, a human skeleton was found in a lake in Chipyana village under Bisarakh police station limits. Police exhumed the skeleton and started investigation. Finally, after 9 months, the police managed to solve the mystery of this case. ‘Ranjit and Neha became friends 9 years ago. Both came together through a missed call. Ranjit finds Neha’s number written in the elevator of the society. A conversation started between the two. Friendship later turned into love,’ said Central Noida Additional Commissioner of Police Vishal Pandey.

Ranjit and Neha had physical relations. But Neha’s family did not accept this relationship. This made Ranjit angry. He sent some obscene photos and videos to Neha’s brother. After this, Neha’s family plotted to kill Ranjit. Accordingly, eight months ago, Neha’s family invited Ranjit to come home for marriage talks. Ranjit went to Neha’s house. There he was given a lot of alcohol. Ranjit was then strangled to death in a drunken state. His body was thrown in the village lake.

On 13th June 2022, Ranjit’s family filed a missing complaint at the police station. On January 26, 2023, police found a human skeleton in a pond near Chipyana’s loco shed. His DNA was tested. Forensic help was also taken in this case. The police interrogated Ranjit’s family. In it, he expressed suspicion on Neha’s family. The family informed the police that Ranjit had gone to Neha’s house. After that, Neha’s family members were detained. They were shown police uniforms. He later confessed to the crime.
