At a private hospital in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, a home guard underwent surgery to remove a kidney stone. Six months after this, the home guard started experiencing severe abdominal pain. The doctor asked him to take an ultrasound report. Shocking information was revealed from it.
Suresh Chandra is a resident of Nagla Tal village of Kasganj. He said that an ultrasound test was done before the surgery on April 14. It was mentioned in the report that there was a stone in the left kidney. The person at the billing counter of the diagnostic center told me to go to a private hospital in Aligarh. I got admitted there on April 14, said Suresh Chandra.
I was operated on on 14th April itself. The doctor told me that the kidney stone was removed. He prescribed me some medicine. I was discharged on 17th April. On October 29, I started having excruciating pain in the lower abdomen. After seeing my old reports and the surgery mark on my stomach, the doctor in Kasganj asked me to do an ultrasound scan. I came to know from the report that my kidney was removed. The hospital where the surgery was performed was a private hospital. I contacted them. But I did not get any satisfactory reply from them. I then complained to my superiors. Chandra said that he assured me of investigation and action.
