Prime Minister Narendra Modi has planned that 75 Vande Bharat Express trains will run on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of the country’s independence. The maximum speed of this train will be 200 kmph. It has facilities like automatic doors, air-conditioned coaches and swivel chairs. This train is equipped with hi-tech technology like GPS system, CCTV cameras, bio toilet. So you will not get tired after traveling Vande Bharat. This has increased the demand for this railway in many states.
Where is Vande Bharat going on now?
There are currently 8 Vande Bharat Express running in the country and the first Vande Bharat Express ran between New Delhi and Varanasi in February 2019. Another train ran from Delhi to Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. After this the present Vande Express ran from Mumbai to Ahmedabad last year, the fourth Vande Bharat ran between Himachal Pradesh – Delhi to Una.
The fifth Vande Bharat was run by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 11 November 2022. She ran between Mysore and Chennai. The sixth ran from Nagpur in Maharashtra to Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh. Satavi ran from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri. The eighth Vande Bharat ran from Sindarabad in Telangana to Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh on January 15.
In which states will it run till 2025?
Meanwhile, according to information provided by the Railway Department, the next Vande Bharat may run between Howrah-Patna and Varanasi-Howrah. Most importantly, assembly elections are going to be held in Bihar in 2025. So many Vande Bharat trains may be announced in the coming time. It is said that apart from Bihar, Vande Bharat is likely to run in the states of Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha.
