IND vs AUS: Another setback ahead of Australia series, star bowler out of first Test

Nagpur: The Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia will be played in India from February 9. Australia team is practicing in Bangalore camp for these matches. This is a four match test series and the first test match will be played in Nagpur. But before that, once again there is bad news for Australia. The team’s fast bowler Mitchell Starc is already out of the first match of the Test series. Now another player is out of the team.

Out of the team due to injury

Along with Mitchell Starc, fast bowler Josh Hazlewood will also not be able to play the first Test against India, according to a Cricbuzz report. He injured his left leg during the Sydney Test last month. He is still not fully recovered from it. Hazlewood was not even seen training in the team’s pre-series camp. He is only seen helping fellow players.

The second Test will be played in Delhi from February 17. Josh Hazlewood is unlikely to be seen playing in this match as well. After the team’s training, he said, ‘Nothing has been decided about the first Test yet. A few days are left for the start of the first Test. The second Test is also soon after this.

Starc also injured

Team’s leading fast bowler Mitchell Starc is also injured. Starc injured his finger during the Test series against South Africa. Due to this, he will not be able to play the first match of the Test series against India. If these two bowlers are out, Scott Boland may get a chance. He can be the second fast bowler in the team along with Pat Cummins.
