Jadeja will return to the team after 2 days! Indian all-rounder included in the squad for the last match

Mumbai: India’s all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been away from the field for the past several months. He was out of the squad due to knee surgery, but is now gearing up for a strong comeback. A 4-match Test series will be played between India and Australia next month. The Indian squad for the first 2 Test matches has also been announced and Jadeja has been included in it. Although Jadeja’s performance in these matches depends on his fitness, he has been included in the squad.

But Jadeja does not want to take any risk to play in the team for this series. So Jadeja needs to regain his rhythm by playing in the Ranji Trophy first. He will be seen playing in Saurashtra’s final Elite Group match against Tamil Nadu. Apart from Jadeja, Jaydev Unadkat and Cheteshwar Pujara have also been included in the squad. According to media reports, Jadeja was scheduled to join the team on Sunday.

Training according to protocol

Saurashtra coach Neeraj said his training and workload will be as per the protocol of the National Cricket Academy, Sportstar reported. He also sent a message to Jadeja on WhatsApp and said that the team is very much looking forward to your comeback. The Indian all-rounder replied that he was very excited. Jadeja had earlier started training, a video of which he shared on social media.

Jadeja injured in Asia Cup

Jadeja will play his first match after 5 months. The 34-year-old Jadeja was injured during the Asia Cup last year. He last played against Hong Kong. He then left the team. A few days after being dropped from the team, he also underwent surgery. He was also ruled out of T20 World Cup 2022 due to injury. Jadeja has now been included in the squad for the first 2 Tests against Australia, but before that he will have to prove his fitness in the Ranji Trophy.
