Training according to protocol
Saurashtra coach Neeraj said his training and workload will be as per the protocol of the National Cricket Academy, Sportstar reported. He also sent a message to Jadeja on WhatsApp and said that the team is very much looking forward to your comeback. The Indian all-rounder replied that he was very excited. Jadeja had earlier started training, a video of which he shared on social media.

Jadeja injured in Asia Cup
Jadeja will play his first match after 5 months. The 34-year-old Jadeja was injured during the Asia Cup last year. He last played against Hong Kong. He then left the team. A few days after being dropped from the team, he also underwent surgery. He was also ruled out of T20 World Cup 2022 due to injury. Jadeja has now been included in the squad for the first 2 Tests against Australia, but before that he will have to prove his fitness in the Ranji Trophy.
