But now his son Anvay Dravid is also going to take up the same responsibility. Anvay Dravid has been made captain at just 13 years of age. Anvay is the younger son of Rahul Dravid, his elder son is Samit Dravid. Both the boys are cricket players in Karnataka. Plays cricket with the under 14 team. Rahul Dravid’s elder son Samith is also a name in Karnataka cricket. His batting has a glimpse of his father and that is because he learned the finer points of cricket from him. Apart from cricket, Samit also enjoys travelling, music and swimming.

Anvay, who captained the Karnataka team in the Under-14 Inter-Zonal Tournament two years ago, played a brilliant innings with his elder brother Samit. The match was in the BTR Shield Under 14 Schools tournament, which featured a double century partnership between the two brothers, with wicketkeeper batsman Anway scoring 90 runs. Due to the performance of both the brothers, their school was able to reach the semi-finals of the competition.
