According to the information received, Rishabh has undergone ligament surgery on his right knee. Rishabh, who was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, underwent this surgery on Friday. Dr. Dinshaw Padriwala has done this surgery on Rishabh. After this surgery, Pant will be kept under doctor’s observation for about 3 to 4 days.

The operation started for three hours
The surgery on Rishabh was going on for almost three hours. Now after the surgery, Rishabh’s health is improving and he is giving a good response.

Rishabh’s head, back, leg and knee were seriously injured in the car accident. After the accident, he was initially treated at Max Hospital in Dehradun. After that, the Board of Control for Cricket in India airlifted Pant to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.
Rishabh’s accident happened near Roorkee
After Rishabh’s accident, he was not selected in the Indian squad for the T20 and ODI series against Sri Lanka. The BCCI had asked Rishabh to go to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for treatment. Before that he went to Dubai. Rishabh came back to India after the Dubai Christmas celebration. Then he met with an accident on December 30 while he was going to his home in Roorkee by car from Delhi. Rishabh’s car crashed after hitting the divider. Rishabh was alone in the car when the accident happened. After the accident, he came out by breaking the wind screen and within moments the car caught fire.

Rishabh was admitted to a competent hospital in Roorkee after the accident. He was then shifted to Max Hospital in Dehradun. Pant was treated here. After that, BCCI took a decision and airlifted him to Kolilaben Hospital in Mumbai through Green Corridor.
