How to make an eco friendly sustainable home
From your city (Wardha)
Village potters make kawelu from clay on a spinning wheel in the traditional way. It is dried in the sun and baked in a kiln. Then these kawelu are formed to make the roof. The shape of the arch is formed by joining the continuous mud-piles, and it is from this that the strong roof of the CSV home is made. Pieces of broken Chinese tiles have also been used underneath. This keeps the roof waterproof and prevents the intense sun from entering. So the house is extremely cold inside. Building this house in hot regions can be beneficial. The house is made attractive by giving natural colors like lime.
How does a house become profitable?
Materials like cement, metal and steel are not required to make the roof of this house. This technique is useful in areas prone to disasters like heavy rains and earthquakes. Because it does not take much time to make this house. A fallen house can be rebuilt quickly. This house is cool and picturesque inside. This house made of traditional materials without harming the environment is made by CSV Center. Thus the center is working to promote rural employment in Wardha district.
