We know that you can send messages to others through WhatsApp. In fact that is what we use WhatsApp for; But you can also send messages to yourself. For that, after opening the WhatsApp window, tap on the big message icon on the lower right side and your name will appear in the list that appears in front. By tapping on that name, you can send a message to yourself. This chat can be used if you want to save some messages for reference or send them to someone later. It can also be used to type messages as drafts.

While deleting a chat, an option appears whether to delete starred messages or not. If you choose not to delete, the messages will remain. These messages are available when you go to Settings and tap on the ‘Start Messages’ option.

We all know that the quality of photos sent via WhatsApp is bad. Because the resolution of those photos is reduced while sending them. Still it is possible to send us good quality photos. For that, go to settings and go to storage and data option. After going there, go to the Photo Upload Quality option and select ‘Best Quality’.

Now a new feature will be available soon from WhatsApp. It allows users to lock their super personal chats. The company has started rolling out this facility. This option will be available in the profile section of every chat.
