Download the Alfred DIY CCTV Home Camera app on both your old and new phone, the phone you want to view the security footage from.
After opening the app on your new or primary phone, tap ‘Start’ and follow the on-screen instructions. Now tap on ‘Next’ after selecting ‘Viewer’. After this you need to sign in with your Google account. While doing the same process on older phones, you need to select ‘Camera’ instead of ‘Viewer’ and log in with the same Google account.
By going to settings, you will be able to make other necessary changes and the feed recorded from the old phone’s camera will appear in the primary phone. You can setup your old phone as a CCTV camera anywhere and its footage can be viewed in the primary phone. The important thing is that both smartphones should be connected to WiFi or Internet. Also, you need to power the old phone with the help of a power cable, so that it does not run out of battery. You can do this with the help of a power bank or a direct charger.
